In surveys I've seen, a lot of adults also don't want their doctor bringing up their weight problem with them.I am glad you brought this up. I have a childhood friend who is my age, 60+. She is obese and has been for the past 30 years. She now has type 2 diabetes and has to take injections. Pray tell. Has no one told her that she needs to lose 100 pounds and if she did she might not have to take injections every day? I am no slim Jim myself but I looked at the weight charts and if I gain a few pounds I will be in the danger zone for type 2 diabetes myself. You needn't be morbidly obese to get type 2 diabetes either.
