In the ten years since I finished treatment I think I've heard of at least a dozen drugs that were going to be the answer to curing cancer. And one after another has, if not fizzled out, at least not been the final answer we're all looking for.

Judah Folkman, whose work created a giant shift in analyzing and treating cancer once said, "if you're a mouse with cancer, we can cure you." Humans, not so much.

I don't know if there will ever be a final answer. But yes, I'll take the little steps along the way if they help people survive and lead a good life.
