The other day I saw a video of Ron Paul saying if we got rid of the income tax, that would only set us back to the income the federal govt had 5 or 6 years ago, so there's no reason to replace it with anything. Does anyone know if this is true? Is this only if we get rid of income taxes or corporate taxes, too? Would this be a better way to implement the fair tax incrementally?
