Later this week I'll be getting a nice fee which will enable me to fund my SIMPLE IRA for the year. I expect I will go 1/3 index; 2/3 stock. BTW, the SIMPLE is at TD Waterhouse. 2 Questions.

1. I have looked around the Fool regarding SPY vs. Indexfunds. The real question as far as I am concerned is which is the most economical cost wise (fees, commissions)?

2. If a fund is the way to go, does anybody favor or have experience with those available thru Waterhouse? I did note Dreyfus funds are available through Waterhouse & they have indexes.

Thanks, Susan
