Hi,

I'm self-employed and in my late 20's. I'm currently opening a SEP-IRA with Vanguard. I understand that the Foolish thing to do would be to put that $ into an index fund. However...I'm confused...all the books and websites I've researched say that I should put my $ in a growth fund because of my age. The growth fund I'm considering is the Vanguard US Growth.

I also have a 403b from a job that I left..and that $ is also in the growth fund (TIAA-CREF). Should I move it to an index? I would appreciate any input!

Thanks
