Individuals doing little things to "make it better" ain't gonna do jack squat to change CO2 in the atmosphere. It already has, Art. Air in US and many European cities is cleaner than it was a few decades ago. The rise in demand for electric energy in the US has decelerated. Even China is beginning to address green concerns by investing more in recycling, building a bicycle infrastructure in their cities, promoting water conservation. None of us know how much the steps we take and push our governments to take will slow the global warming trend. We can't know if we will ever be able to reverse the current trend or when. But we can be sure that if everyone rationalizes doing nothing and giving up, then things will only get worse faster.
