Is anyone familiar with this company? They're headquartered in St.Paul, MN., and are working with an outfit called In-Q-Tel. The latter is a venture capital company funded primarily by the CIA to identify & help grow companies developing technology for use in government intelligence. Infobionics claims to be building the 5th Generation Database - a Cellular Database Management System.

A brokerage called Mercer Capital Ltd. in NYC is offering a private placement of units in Infobionics, & a family member has been interested in this. I don't know enough about software to begin to understand what its all about, & never heard of this broker, & don't want him to make a big mistake. I would appreciate any info/opinions anyone might have on any of the above companies. Thanks!
