Good morning!

Today I checked on my account balances on ING and discovered to my confusion that the account for my son was heavier by an even thousand dollars, which was a bit worrisome because I didn't put it there. When I called to check, I found that it was from a check that was mailed in. Someone must have put their customer number on the check and it just happened to match that account number.

So beware Fools: make sure that the correct info is on your checks! Of course, no one here would make that mistake, I'm sure, but just in case.

Alas- I didn't get a reward from the bank for reporting the error and returning the money. All I can do is look forward to the day when I"ll be able to up the balance by dribs and drabs, the way we've been doing.

Happy Fooling Around!
