I didn't see any posts specifically addressing this one, but sorry if I just missed it this question has already been asked.

I purchased our house before my wife and I were married, so my name is the only one on the title. The question I have is if I die tomorrow (or today), since her name is not on the title would she "inherit" the house, or because we are married is she automatically considered an owner?

Or is this situation irrelevant since the house's value falls below the threshold where inheritance taxes kick in?

Thanks in advance.
