As an multi-line insurance agent, I'd like to get the opinions of Foolish consumers. When shopping for insurance, do you decide only on price? If not, what factors do you consider (e.g., expertise of agent, reputation of insurance carrier, features of the policy, etc.). Please be brutally honest-- do you feel there is any value in having an agent you can trust? I guess I want to see if the general opinion about insurance agents is similar to that of full-service stock brokers! Thanks for your input...
