It is getting annoying. Everytime I communicate with my cc company, for whatever reason, the reps are pushing me to buy an insurance on the cc blance (ie. the cc company will pay the outstanding balance if I became disabled, lost my job, etc.) And everytime I am running out of arguments about why I should refuse.

Me: b/c I never carry a balance
Rep: so that's great, then you won't have to pay the monthly fee (you pay only 0.89$/month if you carry a blance)
Me: b/c I have a good disability insurance
Rep: this is a different type of insurance
Me: b/c I never carry balances large enough to cause me trouble if something bad happened
Rep: so do you have balances on other cards ? You could transfer them, we have a very competitive rate for our customers
Me: Look, I am not interested
Rep: but you have a free 30 days trial
Me: Please, I am really not interested...
Rep: OK, as you wish

Anyways, am I missing something ? Do you guys buy into that kind of stuff ? I just have a feeling that if this was not profitalbe for the cc cie, they would not offer it.
