intercst--I wish you wouldn't bring up investment in housing....I am feeling pretty bad about living in a house that is constantly in need of something.

I am having about 500 sq ft (almost the size of your whole apt.) refloored today...and what did they find? A wet spot on the kitchen floor -- the other side of which is my shower. Yep. Now I have to call in a plumber. They had a little gadget that measured the moisture and it wasn't just a stain...it was a fairly recent leak.

I never told you guys about my one little success. The jammed door of my car was fixed at a body shop for about $300 as opposed to the Acura place that wanted $900. At least I did that right. They had to take out the driver's seat to get the inside door panel off...and then they had to file down the lock mechanism or some such thing and of course replace it with a new mechanism which cost about 3 times what it should have. But now I don't have to crawl across the storage between the duo seat front...what ever happened to bench seats in a car? I still miss those.
