The interesting thing about KB Home is the balancing act. They do the vast majority of their own owner-financing, which means that they make money on the financing in slow markets, and they make money on the accelerated housing starts in a low-interest rate climate.Given that this may be one of the times that interest rates hit historic lows, and that there is a Gen-X population looking to buy a home in the next five to eight years, this is a fine time to have KBH.
