Interests: Competitive bodybuilding, ice hockey, ballroom dancing, alligator wrestling

My guess is that "interests" are a double-edged sword: for everyone intrigued by your interests, there are others who are turned off. "Competitive bodybuilding" and "alligator wrestling": would bring an eyeroll to my face, not a smile.

Not to mention that in an industry where people are expected to work long hours (like mine, software), would it be harder or easier to get hired if you had a lot of interests and/or interests with strict times/appointments like ice hockey games/practice, ballroom dancing events, probably even bodybuilding and alligator wrestling! Although I suspect at management and especially executive levels, leadership positions outside of work wold be useful to mention.
