helloi was wondering if anyone has any experience with internet comparison shopping for mortgages? i've looked at www.loanapp.com. it seems like a great deal. Foolish--akin to comparison shopping for electronics, but...i have several reservations:1) a mortgage broker has raised the issue of fraud, dishonesty, hooks, or at least sleazy last minute changes. is he simply exploiting fears as many old school stock brokers have or is this risky business?2) my name, social security number, and A LOT of personal information will be released to a number of financial institutions. scary prospect: endless junk mail, solicitations, suppose each one sells it...the possibilities are staggeringhas anyone had any experience in this area?comments would be greatly appreciatedbill
