Ok, I am sure this will get people up in arms, but so be it. How can different people NOT interpret the Bible differently? Conserviatives see view it differently than liberals. Catholics view it differently than Protestants. We all come to the Bible with our own thoughts, views, ideas, biases, knowledge. It seems inevitable there would be differing interpretations. Certainly on this board alone, not everyone sees the same passage in exactly the same way as another. Then there is the issue of the Truth. Many people toss the phrase around like they are the only ones who know it. It seems to be that is coming from your own view.I understand there are some passages that are generally accepted by the masses, but no one would have discussion, debate, etc., if there were not differing interpretations. So maybe there is not ONE way to interpret passages? If this is true, I am sure a bunch of people will have their world's rocked later on.Charlie
