Into the USB or FW plugs on the computer. If you don't need to use the USB and FW plugs on the display, you don't need to plug them into anything.


Yes, that would make sense. But new computers no longer come with FW. I could use the TB to DVI adapter that Apple sold me (at the store), but I think I need a Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI adapter? Because if I use what I have, that leaves the FW connection hanging unused. Doing this may not give me full resolution.

I thought someone on this board might have some experience with this, but apparently not.
