I now understand how candlesticks generally work when looking at charts where each day has its own candlestick, but what are the bodies and shadows of an INTRA-DAY candlestick and what do they mean? I think it will give me some info I want about individual buy/sell volumes for trades made during the day. Many thanks.

I'm posting this question from another Fool, but am curious myself.

TIA
