How can someone get information about investing in Turkish stocks as well as the Turkish Stock Exchange.
Is there any online source.
How can you buy individual stocks in Turkey. Is there any online source.
Are there any mutual funds which invest mostly or completely in Turkey.

Direct investment in Turkey seems rather difficult. I am living in Frankfurt Germany, where many Turks live. Even turkish Banks, which I checked yesterday don't have brokerage accounts for foreigners.

But there are some Turkish mutual funds (i.e. Turkei75plus, Ceros Investment). Still these funds may only be registered in Germany.

The Istanbul Stock Exchange has an excellent internet site (http:\\wwww.ise.tr). The turkish Isbank provides economic and political information in the internet (good quality stuff)

Furthermore turkish telekom and turkish cellular-phone-company are planning an IPO for this summer. Many interesting Investment opportunities to my mind.

greetings

Online trading will be available soon for both Turkish Stocks and fixed income securities. To my knowledge there are no mutual funds investing completely in Turkey. That is not legal for inland American funds but there may be some off-shore funds.
