I just stumbled across this board looking for my state after reading todays Fribble. After reading everything that was posted I have a couple of comments.
We have been involved with this company since 1974 when we bought our first home in Washington so I feel like they are part of our family. Well, you know about family. Sometimes they have to be tolerated and accommodated. Over the years we've continued to keep our savings and transactions AND recomend their services. Would I invest in the Company? No.
Here are my reasons for what they are worth.
The branches have become less than professional looking and the customer service has become what you would expect from a poorly managed fast food restaurant. I began noticing this trend about three years ago, I thought it was just because my favorite teller had retired but in other locations customer service doesn't seem to be a priority either. Now maybe this isn't a good reason for not investing, I don't know but I certainly would dig deeper before I decided to own a part of their business.
