Question about Dividends.

(1) Release Date
-When are they released? Quarterly (March, June, etc.), Annually, or whenever the company feels like it?

(2) What's your company's dividend?
Is there a website that tells me what the dividend is or has been?

(3) How do I read a company's dividend (yield) on a website?
Example, GE on finance.yahoo.com http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=GE&.yficrumb=FquF5ZDmjQE

Dividend (Yield) : 0.40 (2.80%).

Does that mean $0.40 / share annually? so ($0.40/share) x (# shares) = amount of my dividend annually? which is equivalent to (2.80%) x (amount of $ invested) ?

THANKS!
