...IOM is almost a penny stock (penny stock = under $5, IOM is $5) because
they split one too many times. And penny stocks don't attract large investors.
Hence, the stock falters.

That is too simplistic a reason for Iomega's demise. They missed their numbers for a few quarters and couldn't get new products to market on schedule. I see no comparison between YHOO and IOM on any level.
