Just got a new digital camera with a 1GB SD Card and have been taking lots more photos. This has created an interesting challenge with iPhoto.

When plugging the SD card in, iPhoto nicely recognizes it and gets set to import the photos. However, I only have one option: Import Photos. If I did not delete the photos from SD card on the last import, it wants to import these again too. I'm looking for a way to tell it which photos to import. Does such an option exist?

I know - it's smart enough to give me the option on whether or not to over-write duplicate names. That helps. But if I've deleted anything from my library (which I do a lot - I take lots of pics and delete the ones that I don't want), it just re-imports them. Not what I want.

Suggestions anyone?
