My Traditional IRA is presently with TIAA-Cref. The majority of the money is invested in the Equity Index Fund which is benchmarked to the Russell 3000. I have been told that I need to diversify more (Include a total market bond fund). As far as I know TIAA-Cref does not have a total market bond fund. I am considering the Vanguard Target Retirement Funds. Is anyone familiar with these funds? I am also concerned about paying a large fee to tranfer this money. Any advice?
