Okay, I'm ready to pull my hair out & howl at the moon.In 1998 I converted from a traditional IRA to a Roth. In doing my 1999 taxes, realized I forgot to report this conversion on my '98 taxes (Form 8606).Upon further research, I realize that, as a married filing separately, I probably should never have converted. What to do to fix the situation?Did I miss the window of opportunity to recharacterize and make it a non-event?
