I have a Roth IRA with several Putnam Funds. My broker is suggesting I dump the funds as they are not happy with the direction that Putnam is heading and roll over the money into American Funds. Due to the economy I havent contributed for 2 years.I dont know much about american funds but know that putnam has had some questionable activity at one time. With all the problems with the market, can I do any better with american funds or is he maybe looking at the commission aspect of the swap.Thoughts/Comments!!!
