IRAs are still essential tools to prepare for retirement particularly since the contribution limits increase over the next few years.

Speaking of which...is this still the schedule for IRA limit changes (for those of us under 50)?

2002-2004: $3000
2005-2007: $4000
2008-2010: $5000
2011+: Indexed to inflation with increases occuring in $500 increments.
