I will hike in Kerry, Ireland the first two weeks in July. The trip is unescourted. My bags are taken from the B&B I stayed each night and transported to the next evening's B&B. I hike each day from 6 to 14 miles. I will be assisted by 1:50,000 maps and good (I am told) instructions. Needless to say, I am looking forward to this trip. My questions: Has anyone out there in Fooldom done such a trip? Has anyone done County Kerry in the southwest of Ireland? Places I will be include: Killarney, Black Valley, Glencar, Glenbeigh, and Caherciveen. Carpe diem!!
