MDH is "easing" into retirement (by year-end) and becomes quite irrascible at times. I'm assuming he's having trouble transitioning from being the head of a mechanical engineering department to retiree. He's a true INTJ and occasionally goes into the office to help out. He typically comes home fuming about the stupidities that the company/department/marketing/you-name-it are committing.

Does anyone have any tips on how to deal with this situation?
