I am new to bonds and bond funds have started a small cd ladder investment portfolio. After reading some of the posts here, I was thinking are there any bond funds which invest in 5 year very high quality bonds (AAA + ) and use a laddering approach where they just keep turing the funds over (back into 5 year terms) once the bonds come due ? Would this be better than a personal cd ladder approach - i.e. I would think a bond fund of this type would be more liquid than a personal CD ladder protofilo and get the same benefit.Comments ?
