Is Monmouth on I-5?
If so...remind me next time and maybe we can meet.

Close enough. I can scoot the 15 minutes over to Salem. :)

Cool!
Salem is my lunch and gas stop. :)

Gas stop for sure -- because this last time I failed to get gas there ... after looking at my gas gauge and seeing that I had half a tank...and then finding myself in the mountains just north of Grant's Pass and looking down at an indicator needle pointing at BONE DRY EMPTY! The blood drained from my body. I swear I must have been white as a sheet.

I quickly asked my GPS to find me some gas - and it sent me to the next exit where there was a place named what it said it was named... but they did not sell gas! OY!

Back in the car and exit at next opportunity where I found some gas. My indicator was then on the red light. Whew! Never been so scared in my life -- except later when the alternator died and the car died on I-5 at Rogue River.

What a trip! :)

Next time.... GAS IN SALEM (whether I think I need it or not!)
