I understand that Datum's biggest customer - Lucent - just
changed their inventory policy in a way that forces Datum
to book their sales later than before. I also heard Datum
forecast a near-term downturn in revenues, but is the
fundamental picture that changed? Have we seen the cover
peeled back from some truly awful and previously unknown
secret of mismanagement and deceit or have we just seem a
sudden change in some numbers which will wash out by the
next quarterly report? This really needs the Foolish
fundamental analysis.
