It would seem to indicate that Financial freedom is a subsidiary of the banks that was taken over buy the FDIC, But If you click to the home page you see the following:http://www.financialfreedom.com

they have removed the reference to Indymac Bank., F.S.B.

I called posing as a concerned costumer, and was told that Financial freedom was unaffected, but since as a customer I would be unaffected anyway, I'm not sure whether to believe it.
