It has been widely noticed that various physical constants and parameters are just exactly those needed to permit life.

This is a commonly held precept. However, to be correct, the end should read "life as we know it. For if the constants were different, life might very well have formed in a very different manner.

I can just imagine in a world where the parameters are different, some LGMs having a discussion "Imagine if things were different, like the air was full of oxygen, or water was still a solid at 30°, there would be no way that life could exist."

Saying that the parameters are within a certain range is a proof of god is like saying that because the ration of a circles circumference to its diamiter is nearly 3 is proof of god. It's not proof, it's just the way it is.
