My wife inherited a large amount of wabc recently. Since I started following it, it has gone from the low to mid 30's to where it is now, the dumps. On one hand, the stock is going nowhere, so I'd like to sell it off and invest in something better ( like 95% of the market according to the RPS rating for the last 3 months). On the other hand, how could it go any lower. It's numbers are good according to what little I've read. I've heard that there is supposed to be a buy back of shares soon as well. Any ideas?
Westamerica is doing very well in comparison to last year. Why the stock is down in the dumps... who knows. I usually buy a little bit every few weeks... I'm actually excited at it being this cheap. It is a somewhat volatile stock though. I've seen it go from down in the dumps up to about $70 and then split in the past.If you want to sell, go for it... but I think it would be wiser to wait and gnash your teeth for a bit.Jessalynn
