It is not clear from your posting if you are now retired, or if you merely taking the money out of your
401K in a way that minimizes taxes.

Answer is I have been retired for 6 yrs and besides the 401K I have a Co. Retirement to live on. In 2 yrs at 62 SS kicks in for an inflation hedge. Also the wife and I have seperate IRA's which we don't touch. There is also our stocks and mutual funds which we don't touch so the savings continues to mount.
