It seems that they're not hiring the cream of the crop mortgage brokers so the quality of service is hit or miss. Hit or miss pretty much sums up my experience with all mortgage co's, to the point that I decided it was just as good going with Amerisave. They've been no better or worse than other places I've dealt with.I remember one mortgage guy I was dealing with out of WV for a property in VA...one I had dealt with in the past. He got all irate when I mentioned how much better Amerisave's rates were, and reminded me that Amerisave was not a local mortgage co. I asked him how my being in PA, the property in VA, and his being in WV made him any more accessible than Amerisave? Heck, at least Amerisave didn't insist I overnight docs to them to the tune of around $25 a pop.IP,now refusing to deal with any mortgage co that won't process electronic docs
