A couple of months ago I asked for some advice about moving my mutual funds to Vanguard. Old Toad gave me his 3 cents and it was well appreciated. I requested a prospectus and it sat on my desk for a little over a month. Well,I finally sat down this morning and really "looked" at my funds. Some time spent on smartmoney.com enabled me to really see how my current funds were performing compared to the S&P500. Then came the hard part. Even after reading all of the information I still had questions about Vanguard Funds. I think the customer service reps. thought I was some sort of test call to check on their customer service skills. I used(not intentionally) all of the wrong terms and kept getting "IRA" related questions mixed up with the general account questions. I was actually perspiring! I just wanted to say that I DID IT! I know I didn't solve the ozone depletion problem, but I did start to take charge of my finances and it wasn't that bad!
