It wasn't that long ago that most people laughed at the thought of a virtual (touch) keyboard. Even I had no issues typing emails and texts on an older iPhone. Using an iPad mini with IOS 7, again, no issues. I believe you can turn off the spell check thingie. I think more than one suggestion might be helpful.

Seeing as how the Vast majority of internet browsing, online shopping, and other such activities are done using IOS, I guess someone's figured out how to use them.

I've used Blackberys and Android devices, and don;t own any of them.

The comments seem to be pretty out of touch with reality given not only the installed IOS base, but the enormous boost in sales with the new iPads and iPhones. I guess a lot of it is personal preference. At fire sale prices, one would think this quarter and next that Windows Mobile should have at least 25% market share.
