The assault on the Libyan consulate was one of four assaults on US embassies. There were at least three others. Egypt, Tunisia, and Libya. These were coordinated from senior Al Qaeda leadership as retribution for the death by drone of another Al Qaeda leader.http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/al-qaeda-responsible-4-a...The article also points out there were other possible attacks associated with a coordinated Al Qaeda effort. A positive spin would be to say that at least they couldn't reach the homeland. Okay. Cold comfort it is, but don't lie to the American people. Give it straight what we're facing. US soil, it's embassies and consulates, are now under serious/grave threat across the Middle East.I never thought I'd live to see the day with such a contemptible soul occupying the Oval Office. The presidential office holder works for us collectively. We are his boss, not the other way around. The military and the Navy in particular has objective and subjective criteria the commander must meet in order to retain his appointed position. Command demands the utmost in trust and assumption of responsibility. The commander's seniors must have full confidence in his leadership skills and the commander will be held to the highest standards of accountability.Well, as one of Obama's bosses, he lost my trust and confidence in his leadership a long time ago. He fails to meet any standard form of accountability. With luck he will be relieved of all duties and responsibilities come January.
