It would be pretty silly if we were maxing out our contributions to 401k savings and IRAs and still in enough debt to come to this board.


Using the guidlines most people on this board recommend, I was able to dig my way out of the debt. Most of it anyway, still working on a car loan.

I still come here, mostly because I enjoy the advice. It is given with humor and with knowledge (for the most part). Even though I have only a couple of more months on the loan, I still hang here because I love to see others make the happy dance. This board is about empowerment. Real empowerment.

BTW, I am maxing 401k and IRA.
