...It's a shame when a person decides that someone else isn't grieving properly or for the correct duration.

I know one fellow who was Niagra Falls when his wife died. It would've been better if he'd treated her well when she was alive. Been awhile, but I believe there's a scene in one of Thomas Hardy's books about a bereaved lover who was all drama about his loss, but hadn't been good to the deceased while she was alive.

So IMO if widows & widowers were good to their deceased spouses prior, then they have a green light to do whatever they like. I like to see when they arrange to be happy. They've done their time, no point in destroying an existing life because of one that's already over.
