No offense, but you may want to rethink how you're going about this whole thing. If you really want to invest in individual securities you probably will want to do a lot more research than just looking at what it's current dividend is and what business it's in. Also, what will you do with the opinions of strangers on the internet? What if a majority of folks here say you should back up the truck and load up on some individual stock? Will you do so? What if it tanks the next day/week/month/year?

You might want to go back and read some good books on basic investing to get a variety of viewpoints. I'd suggest a visit to your local library. If you'd rather get information on line, then you may want to start with articles, essay, etc. before asking for specific recommendations from discussion board participants.
