I've always thought long term insurance sounded like a rip-off. Salesmen approached me at 47, and I'm thinking "how do I know YOU'LL EVEN BE HERE by the time I need this?" I mean, how do you know the company you're paying would be solvent in 30 years? Probably suck in profits for 10 and "go bankrupt".
