I've been a happy MBNA cardholder since '99; just received the AAA Platinum Visa.

While the cards haven't offered cash back or rebates, their rates are attractive for reducing interest payments to other creditors. They have performed balance transfers in a quick and hassle-free manner.

Customer service is always great, not a complaint. They do seem eager to offer credit - a "present" I won't overuse, but do appreciate a bank noticing that I can handle my finances responsibly and not keeping the limits small. (hear that Chase and FUSA?) The higher limits make it easier to float those occasional large purchases, or to make use of their balance transfer offers. Nothing irks me more than "we'd like to lend you money at 2.9%" only to see on the flip side that there's no credit limit increase to make use of their offer.
