I've got a question for anyone with a good idea...

I'm planning a room addition on my home bought 3 years ago. The equity built up to this point will not cover the expense. I'm wondering what other reasonable options are available, including the sale of stock and options.

(1) Go to bank with your checking account.
(2) Open savings account.
(3) Instruct bank to transfer a fixed sum of money on the day your receive each paycheck from checking to savings.
(4) Continue until you have enough to pay for the addition.

That should do it.
