(((I've had the idea that a sharp stock market correction might
prove to be the political prerequisite for QE3. The articles
below are supportive of this idea -- which means that buying put
options on SPY or QQQQ at opportune moments may prove to be quite good.
Note that gold/silver might not be unaffected, especially if
margined accounts are liquidated. Trading technically is recommended
(i.e. don't just buybuybuy gold/silver out of fear without looking
at the chart movements/positions.) As stinky as the dollar is, it
is what we use to buy things...and in a sell-off the dollar may
deteriorate more slowly than the prices of the things it might be
used to purchase.)))
