I've made a quick intro before but I'll say hello again!

My DH and I turn 30 and 29 this year. We are aiming to save 20%+ so that we can FIRE by our late 40's earlier if we can manage. This aggressive saving will start in Q4. To date we've saved via our 401k's but little else. I think our total savings to date (incl home equity) is little over 2x our annual income.

LBOM is the key and we are cutting back here and there for the greater good. I need to get a few books on investing and really start spreading the investments around a bit. I developed a budget that DH agrees with so we are ready to jump on the path to FIRE.
