I've purchased both the PattStrap and the Pro-Tec ITB strap
( For me
the Pro-Tec strap worked better. It has a pad on the strap wich you
can position over a precise area which helps in my opinion. I also
think that the material it is made of is better. When I used the
PattStrap it rolled up and the inside material stretched and ripped.
At this point I only use the Pro-Tec strap while running. I use the PattStrap after running if I still have some irritation on my IT Band and it helps relieve the pain.
