I've used Quicken for Mac for decades. While I don't have much to compare it to, I've recently looked for alternatives since Quicken was not compatible with Apple's latest OS. My search showed that there is no alternative software that offered the tools I'd grown accustomed to using with Quicken.

Lo and behold, Intuit "upgraded" their 2007 version of Quicken to work with Mac OS Lion and I've been using it for a couple months now. I believe it can be purchased for $15. I'd recommend giving it a shot.

I have some hope that Intuit creates a paid version of Mint that merges the scheduling and portfolio tracking of Quicken. That would seem to make sense for a direction for Intuit to head in.
